Welcome to 2250. You have been appointed Administrator of Aethelburg. You will not be a neutral observer; you will choose one of the city's competing ideological factions to lead. Your primary goal is to ensure your chosen faction survives, and ideally flourishes, for 50 turns, at which point the simulation concludes.
As leader of your faction, you must navigate the complex political landscape of the city-state. You will face constant pressure from rival ideologies. You may need to form alliances, suppress dissent, or eliminate opposition to maintain power. Each turn presents events that demand difficult choices, impacting your city's core attributes and your all-important Axiom Adherence.
Axiom Adherence measures your commitment to your faction's core beliefs. High adherence grants powerful bonuses, while low adherence will destabilize your rule with penalties. Remember, your faction has non-negotiable principles, critical attributes that cannot fall below a set threshold for more than three turns. Failure means the collapse of your movement, your removal from office, and the end of the game. Furthermore, allowing any core city attribute, such as Happiness or Cohesion, to remain below 1 for more than four turns will lead to an irreversible societal collapse and end your administration. Lead wisely, Administrator.
